Welcome to the Cypress Election

New Port Connections Are Success

In 2012, we replaced the data port in all eSlates due to rising connection problems on Election Day. Since then, there has been a decline in the number of issues. Please note the proper way to connect these in your training.

Ballot Statement

The ballot statement has been redesigned to make it easier for poll workers to reconcile ballots cast and voter signatures at the end of Election Day. This self-explanatory design provides a space for poll workers to explain any discrepancies as well.

Vote-by-Mail in Roster

We've made it easier for poll workers to indicate how a vote-by-mail voter casts their ballot at the polling place. In the Roster, the poll worker now checks whether the voter surrendered a ballot or voted provisionally.

New Name Badges!

Redesigned to Stand Out

We have redesigned our name badges to clearly designate you as a poll worker for the Registrar of Voters. There are also badges that designate a poll worker with bilingual skills. Please ensure that all poll workers are wearing their badges.

Language Assistance Sign

New language assistance signs have been created to further help voters. These signs indicate that the polling place provides ballots in English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese, and also spoken assistance in certain languages. Please place the language assistance sign on the main table in a way that it is visible to voters.
