Vote-by-Mail Voting
Voting-by-mail allows voters to obtain and submit their ballots for any election by mail.  It’s easy to request a vote-by-mail ballot:

  • A one-time request for a vote-by-mail ballot is election specific.  This type of application is only valid for one election.

It is important to remember that the voted ballot must be received, not just postmarked, by the Registrar of Voters’ office or any Orange County polling place no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Polling Place Voting
If you choose to vote at your polling place, you will have the option of voting an electronic or paper ballot. You can vote using our electronic voting system, which provides a mechanism to verify your vote prior to casting your ballot. You may also choose to vote a paper ballot in your polling place. Poll workers will provide assistance regardless of the type of ballot you choose. If you are unsure of the location of your polling place we provide an easy-to-use tool to locate your polling location.
