Orange County, CA Elections to Conduct Post Election Audit of 2nd Supervisorial District Vacancy Election Results

Auditing of ballots will be conducted to provide strong statistical evidence that the election outcome is correct.

SANTA ANA, CA - March 5, 2021 - Orange County will conduct a post-election audit beginning Thursday, March 11, 2021. 

The post-election audit consists of a hand verification of paper ballots cast in order to provide evidence that the outcome is correct.

Prior to the commencement of the post-election audit, the Registrar of Voters will conduct a random draw to determine which ballots will be audited.

The Registrar of Voters will publish the status of the audit on its website throughout the post-election audit period.

  • Thursday, March 11, 2021 - 9:00am (random selection)

WHERE:

  • Registrar of Voters, 1300 South Grand Avenue, Building C, Santa Ana, CA

HOW:

  • Once the random selection is established the physical pulling of the actual ballots will take place and the ballot audit will begin.
