Early Voting Tied to Final Turnout?

Our early polling place voting began Monday and started off with 533 voters. As the week progressed the number of voters decreased slightly. As of today the total number of early voters is 2,338. Irvine City Hall is the busiest location out of the 11 sites. Four years ago during the same period we had processed nearly 10,000 voters. It is likely the nearly doubling of vote-by-mail voters has had a significant impact.
