Vote-by-Mail Tracking

Majority of ballots should arrive by today

This week we mailed 630,000 vote-by-mail ballots to voters. Our Data Central section on our website, unique to Orange County, allows users to track a variety of data points related to ballots.

MyBallot Student Election at Loara

Loara High School once again participated in our MyBallot program. Students voted in a mock election and we recruited xx students to work in November.

Automation Comes Full Circle

We have been able to automate 90% of our ballot operation, allowing us to exceed our production goals and mail materials in advance of deadlines, including mailing materials on the first day allowed.

Incoming Voter Calls Increase
Our Voter Assistance Center has handled 15,000 calls since going live on September 19th. The majority of calls are questions such as polling place location, options for voting and ballot status. Our Election Studio showcases our telephone operations in a unique behind-the-scenes tour. http://www.ocvote.com/stay-connected/election-studio/viewer/?vid=tNhtJJFLT3w

Extensive Survey Program Tracks Quality Control

Our survey program is underway for the November election. We now collect data in 10 categories, tracking everything from the satisfaction of poll workers to voters. We review this data daily and weekly in quality control meetings. Adjustments are made to the operations based on real-time feedback. All of our election survey reports can be found in our Election Library.
