Polling Place Operations Manual

Our operations manual has been redesigned to help poll workers more easily navigate Election Day procedures. Check it out in advance of your poll worker training in our Resource Center.

Don't Forget to Repeat

After greeting the voter the Roster Clerk will ask the voter to state his/her name. The Roster Clerk should audibly repeat the voter's name. You'll learn more about this in training.

New Voter Roster List

The Combined Roster-Index has been redesigned to make it easier for poll workers to assist voters Election Day. When assisting a voter, the Roster Clerk will need to first look up a voters name in the “Voter Roster List”, which includes active and inactive voters.  A “Supplemental Roster” is also included for last minute registrations.
