Remember to Open On Time!

Opening on time is critical!

Please remember that federal and state law requires that we open our polling places on time. Please set up early if you can and plan to open right on time at 7:00 a.m. Have a great day and thank you for volunteering!

Election Observers

We anticipate numerous election observers during this election. Remember they have a right to be in the polling place as long as they do not disrupt election operations. Refer to page 12 of your manual.

Your Election Day Help Desk

We are here to help you if you need assistance on Election Day. Our help line is 714-954-1901 - we prioritize calls based on the type of call. We will be open until 10 p.m. on Monday to assist you.

Set Up All of Your Voting Booths

Booth allocation is based on turnout

We have allocated voting booths based on turnout data from multiple elections. Deliveries range from 12, 8 6 and 4. Please always set up every voting booth that is delivered to you.

Focus on Processing Voters

Polling place turnout is always heavier during Presidential elections. Please keep in mind that many voters may be dropping off a vote-by-mail ballot and should not have to wait in line (keep an eye out for these voters). Focus on moving voters quickly through the process and use greeters when possible to keep the lines moving. You'll do a great job!  Thanks for volunteering!
