Election Security is Critical
Election Security is Critical

We have been hard at work hardening our systems in advance of the General Election. In fact, you can view our planning in detail in our Election Security Playbook, which provides a roadmap for defending the systems and networks vital to conducting elections in Orange County. We have focused our attention on the physical, cyber and social aspects of our election planning.

If You See Something, Say Something
If You See Something, Say Something

We've partnered with Homeland Security for their “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign for this election. Your service as a poll worker will be filled with busy moments followed by lulls throughout the day. It’s easy to overlook what might be routine moments, but as you’re going about your day, if you see something that doesn’t seem quite right, say something. In an emergency dial 911 or contact our help desk for non-emergency issues.

Election Observer Rights in the Polling Place
Election Observer Rights in the Polling Place

Polling place monitors have a right to observe activity within a polling place. They may ONLY observe the procedures. They may not and should not, in any way, be involved with poling place operations and they may not interfere with the general operation of the polling place. In addition, they may not remain if they interfere with or intimidate voters. Our Election Observer handbook provides additional details.

Conditional Voter Registration
Conditional Voter Registration

Eligible citizens who missed the October 22nd registration deadline can visit the Registrar of Voters’ office or an Early Vote Center to register and vote conditionally. Their ballots will be processed once our office has completed the voter registration verification process. It's important to note that voters cannot complete this process in a polling place - please direct any interested non-registered individuals to our Santa Ana office on Election Day.
