With voting officially opening on Tuesday we have seen a steady influx of voters looking to cast their ballots early. Many will be on vacation, or out of town, and wanted to ensure they voted before leaving - we have processed 188 in-person voters since the 9th.

Some individuals, or organizations, may wish to observe Election Day for a variety of reasons. We offer a detailed handbook on the rules and regulations associated with observation. In addition, we’ve modified our training to focus on the rights observers have when visiting a polling place.

We began to mail language ballots yesterday. 60,000+ will be sent to voters who’ve requested language assistance. One of our new features is a bilingual “I Voted” sticker, which is included with each ballot packet.

Poll Worker Training Underway
Poll Worker Training Underway

Poll worker training began earlier this week and to date we have trained 631 poll workers. Multiple options exist for in-class training throughout the County - learn more by volunteering on our website - it takes just minutes!
