Have an Idea for a Vote Center Location?
Have an Idea for a Vote Center Location?

We're geared up for evaluating public input on possible Vote Center locations. The law requires that we evaluate 13 different criteria when finding locations, such as transportation, vehicle ownership, traffic patterns, vote-by-mail usage and more. Use our online form to submit your ideas today!

Researching Ballot Drop Box Locations
Researching Ballot Drop Box Locations

Our team is in the process of researching potential locations for ballot drop boxes, which will be located throughout Orange County beginning in 2020. Over 100 secure drop boxes will be strategically placed at shopping locations, train stations, city halls, and more providing opportunities for voters to securely drop off their ballot.

Analyzing Vote Center Site Selection
Analyzing Vote Center Site Selection

We developed a tool used to analyze possible sites for Vote Centers. This mapping program takes data from all of the required elements (such as traffic, vehicle ownership, turnout, etc.) and provides outputs that assist in our analysis. An online version will be avaiable for the public beginning next week.

Vote Center Operations Planning Group
Vote Center Operations Planning Group

We've assembled 12 working groups in our agency focused on Vote Center planning. The operational teams are working on site selection, ballot drop boxes, public meetings, communications, accessibility, language access and more. Our primary planning group (shown in this photo) provides oversight on each working group.
