When are my voting rights taken away?

The only time you are not allowed to vote is if you are currently imprisoned or are currently on parole.

Under what conditions can I vote?

YOU CAN VOTE IF:

• You are in county jail serving a misdemeanor sentence.

• You are in jail as a condition of probation.

• You are currently on probation, mandatory supervision, or post-release community supervision.

• You have completed your parole.
