The motto of the California Association of Clerks and Election Officials (CACEO) is OFFICIUM POPULI, or "Office of the People".  The Orange County Registrar of Voters is a proud member of CACEO. 

The Association was created to foster uniformity of practices and procedures in the elections community while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. CACEO is committed to promote public confidence in the administration of elections and to support and facilitate in a nonpartisan manner, legislation to further these objectives. 

CACEO offers an educational program, the California Professional Education Administrator Credentials Program (CALPEAC). These educational classes are offered to all CACEO members. 

Goals of CACEO:

• To Promote High Standards in Office - To develop and promote a high standard of administrative ability and efficiency in personnel conducting the administrative affairs of the Registrar of Voters. 

• To Promote Welfare of Members - To promote the welfare of members of the Association and the counties they represent. 

• To Promote Uniformity of Practices - To promote uniformity of practice and procedures in the administrative activities in the application of the laws governing the Registrar of Voters.
