ยป How can we be sure this system is working as it should be?
Before any vote is cast, there is a process of testing the machines to be sure they are working as expected. This process, known as logic and accuracy testing, allows election officials to be sure votes are counted as they are cast. This also applies to the VVPAT printers, which are tested and inspected prior to being sent out in the field on Election Day.
