You must be a registered voter in the State of California.
- UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP
It goes along with the registration requirement that you be a citizen of the United States of America.
- 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER
As the registration requirement also states, you must be 18 years of age. However, if you are volunteering through the Senior High School student program the minimum age is 16.
- FREE FROM PAROLE OR JAIL
People who are currently in jail or on parole for a felony conviction cannot volunteer.
- BILINGUAL [OPTIONAL]
For specific precincts we are in need of citizens who are bilingual speakers in either Vietnamese, Chinese, Spanish, or Korean.
- FAMILIARITY WITH ELECTRONIC DEVICES [OPTIONAL]
While our eSlate voting devices are not complicated, knowing how to plug data cables in and type are a benefit.
