March 9, 2012 - We are continuing to make strides in ensuring an improved voter registration list. One part of this process is merging National Change of Address (NCOA) information with our voter registration database. This data comes from the U.S. Postal Service and is collected from individuals who fill out a change of address card with the post office when they move. We have approximately 90,000 records in this category (this is 18 months worth of data). 15,000 of these records will have to be examined manually due to voters inserting P.O. boxes for resident addresses, as an example. All of these changes will take place in the next few weeks.
