Santa Ana,
CA October 31, 2008 – With
interest in the Presidential Election at an all time high the
Orange County Registrar of Voters is informing the public on
the best way to have their election questions answered. The
Registrar of Voters phone bank is prepared to handle voter
questions, but the easiest and fastest way to get answers is
to visit their website at www.ocvote.com.
“We have designed our
website to be user friendly and have provided information on
the most critical questions such as polling place location
and copies of every sample ballot”, said Neal Kelley,
Registrar of Voters. “You can even track where your
Vote-by-Mail ballot is in the process”, he continued.
Calls to
the Registrar of Votes will increase in the final days
before the election and will be extremely busy on Election
Day. Voters should understand that we will process their
questions as soon as possible. If a voter must call they are
encouraged to do so as soon as possible due to Election Day
call volume. Our voter information line will be
operational on Election Day from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
