Santa Ana, CA - January 2008 - The Orange County Registrar of Voters kicks-off Early Voting for the February 5, 2008 Presidential Primary at ten locations on January 20, 2008.

Early Voting allows any registered voter in Orange County the opportunity to vote in a polling place setting prior to Election Day and is especially convenient for voters that believe they will not be able to vote at their polling place on Election Day.

“We want to provide every available option for people to cast their ballot,” said Neal Kelley, Registrar of Voters. “Tens of thousands of voters have used the early voting option in prior elections,” he continued.

Some examples of sites include John Wayne Airport (for ticketed passengers); The Shops at Mission Viejo and Westminster Mall.  Early voting runs from January 20 – 29, 2008. A full list of locations and times can be found on the left.
