It is
important that poll workers inform voters that both
options (paper or electronic ballots) are available
– if the eSlate voting booths are full, you can
encourage voters to opt for a paper ballot, and
vice-versa. To help manage the distribution of paper
ballots the Registrar of Voters is introducing a new
clerk position: the paper ballot clerk. Just as the
JBC clerk helps issue electronic paper ballots to
voters, the paper ballot clerk will be responsible for
identifying the correct paper ballot and giving it to
the voter.
