Our field coordinators are often our first responders to Election Day issues that can't be solved by poll workers.  We will be using 40 in the field for the 72nd Assembly District election.

Many times groups or organizations monitor elections or conduct exit polls.  There are specific rules set forth in statute in order to protect the process and maintain security in the poll site.  For example, exit polls cannot be conducted less than 25 feet from a poll site entrance.  In addition, observers cannot converse with voters within 100 feet of a poll site entrance.  View our detailed guide on observing in the 72nd Assembly District by clicking here.

» Easier Way for Our Inspectors to Contact Student Poll Workers Coming
Starting with the June 2008 election we began removing the names and address information of our student poll workers on our notices to poll workers.  This was designed to provide added protection and security for students working the election.  But this made it difficult for poll workers to contact their student workers.  We are launching a new service, which will allow poll workers to call a phone number and enter a code.  They will then be connected directly with the student.
