» 1.5 Million Sample Ballots Mailed This Week       With the June Primary just 25 days away we mailed 1.5 million sample ballots to voters this week.  These are prepared in batches of 300,000 during a 24-hours period and then shipped to the Long Beach Postal Distribution center for processing.  Following close behind this mailing we mailed the permanent vote-by-mail ballots.  We expect a flood of vote-by-mail requests to begin arriving in our office next week.
