» MyBallot Student Program Set to Launch in Time for June 2008 Election                                                  In an effort to increase our recruitment of high school students to work the polls, we have developed a unique recruitment tool.  "MyBallot" will allow students to build and tally their own mock ballots while learning about the history of voting.  Once through the program they will have the opportunity to work at the polls on Election Day. More details will appear in the near future.

» New Caddies to Transport Voting Equipment Helps to Ease Burden                                                         For the 2008 elections we have changed the way we will allocate voting booths to poll sites.  In the past we sent out 8 booths per poll site, regardless of previous turnout.  In an effort to address lines at poll sites allocation will now be made based on past turnout, predicted turnout and factoring in vote-by-mail voters.  As a result we have been manufacturing additional caddies (shown at left) which are used to transport voting booths.
