John
Wayne Airport to Host Early Voting Site for 2008
Elections
John Wayne Airport
has been a valuable partner in our early voting
program. Since 2004 we have provided early voting
for ticketed passengers at JWA. Many travelers
have commented on the convenience of voting prior to
their departure or after their arrival. For
a list of our early voting sites for February 2008 click

Consolidated
Marketing Brochure in Final Stages
In
an effort to consolidate our communication into one
message, we have been developing a detailed brochure
which will showcase all of our outreach efforts.
Shown at right photographs are being shot which
represent poll sites as they would appear on Election
Day. This photo shoot, shot at the Orange Presbyterian
Church this past week, will produce photos that will
appear in our brochure under Poll Site Recruitment.

Caddies to Transport Voting Equipment Helps to Ease
Burden
For the 2008 elections we have changed the way we will
allocate voting booths to poll sites. In the past
we sent out 8 booths per poll site, regardless of
previous turnout. In an effort to address lines at
poll sites allocation will now be made based on past
turnout, predicted turnout and factoring in vote-by-mail
voters. As a result we have been manufacturing
additional caddies (shown at left) which are used to
transport voting booths.
