Outreach
Event at Irvine Chinese Cultural Center
Jay
Koo, Korean Outreach Specialist for the Registrar of
Voters, is shown at right speaking this week at the
Chinese Cultural Center in Irvine. We began a
series of public events this past week designed to
inform the public about the upcoming election as well as
aid in the recruitment of poll workers. Focusing
on the recent review by the Secretary of State has also
been one of the many topics we discuss.

» Warehouse
Logistics Plays an Important Role in February's
Election
As we prepare for the February election the movement of
voting devices in our warehouse becomes critical.
Each of the 9,000 voting booths must be moved and
tracked prior to servicing. This is a tedious
process designed to ensure that we burn trusted firmware
on each device as well as provide the required
servicing.
