Upgrading
Poll Sites to Improve Accessibility
Shown
at right our ADA Accessibility Teams prepare to set up
ramps and equipment at poll sites throughout the
county. We have been testing our new ramps in
advance of the election to make sure the equipment fits
and that the required slopes are within acceptable
limits. We will be upgrading about 150 sites

» What's
In A Battery? Keeping An Election Up and
Running
Each eSlate
voting booth has a battery pack which provides back-up
power on Election Day. We are currently testing
10,000 of these battery packs in preparation for the
February election. The proper operation of the
batteries is essential to the election process.
