Contacting the Office for Help
There are three ways you can easily contact one of our Poll Worker PASS Customer Service agents for assistance. Call us toll free at 1-(877) 697-9727, click here to chat with an agent, or email us at pwpass@rov.ocgov.com.

Gone will be the multiple mailings from us every time we make a change to your election information or poll site. - Frequently Asked Poll Worker PASS Questions

- California law requires that we provide a written notice to you of your appointment to your poll site, which includes all of the legal notices you'll find in your Poll Worker PASS packet. In addition, you will notice that Poll Worker PASS cards are different colors depending on the type of election - blue for primary elections and green for general elections.

- The Poll Worker Pass was created to provide you immediate access to your election information, day or night, from the comfort of your home or office. With automatic email updates when changes occur, volunteers will be kept constantly updated – right up to Election Day.

- You cannot change your training class. However, you can submit a correction to your address.

- No. Each Poll Worker PASS account is unique. There will be identical poll site information for volunteers working in the same place, but each account is specific to you.

- No. Think of your ID number as your account number. This is your personal Poll Worker ID number. No two numbers are alike.

- Your information is updated automatically any time there is a change, such as the addition of a new member to your poll site or when you are scheduled for training.

- Yes. All members of a board will receive notifications regarding changes that affect them all, for example a new member being placed on the board.

- All of the Poll Worker PASS information presented online can also be accessed through our new automated Poll Worker PASS phone system by calling 1-866-661-2307.

- If you forgot your password, you will have an option to click “Forgot your Password” button which will help you log on.

- Call one of our Customer Service agents at 1-(877) 697-9727. You still have access to your personalized information and can still print out your election information as needed.

- There will be a process in place for us to ensure that we record your information and update the Poll Worker PASS website. We encourage all volunteers to carry the Poll Worker PASS at all times.

- No. With each election, the Poll Worker PASS will be different and specific to that election.

- By carrying your Poll Worker PASS with you on Election Day, we will be able to update our database and start proofing data the same day. Before, proofing of the thousands of names would begin the day after the election.

- When you register your card, you create your own password for protection. The only information on the site will be your name, address, phone number and your volunteer information. No sensitive information, such as birthdate and social security number will be on your account.
