PENALTIES
In accordance with Government Code Section §84200, all elected officers, candidates and committees shall file a semi-annual campaign disclosure statement, 1st Pre-election statement (if applicable) or 2nd Pre-election statement (if applicable).
If any person files an original statement or report, or a copy of a statement or report, after any deadline imposed by this act, he/she shall, in addition to any other penalties or remedies established by this act, be liable in the amount of ten dollars ($10) per day after the deadline until the statement is filed (Government Code §91013 [ a ] [ b ]) .
When specific written notice is sent by Registrar of Voters, all names will be submitted to the District Attorney’s office for further action.
