National Association of County Recorders, Election Officials and Clerks
The National Association of County Recorders, Election Officials and Clerks (NACRC) is a professional organization of elected and appointed county administrative officials, who network on a national level to share information and ideas. Newly elected or appointed county officials, or those with a long career in county government, have found tremendous resources within the organization. Registrar of Voters, Neal Kelley, is the elected vice president of NACRC.
Founded in 1949, with members hailing from nearly every state of the union, NACRC has the history and breadth to help solve problems many officials confront in office.
As an affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACo), NACRC posts legislative updates on pending matters of national significance. And as an association of professionals facing similar challenges to modernize records and meet new election standards, they share ideas and interact at regional and national conferences.
