Anaheim Union High School District Candidate Filing Period Set to Begin

SANTA ANA, CA – October 12 , 2007 – The candidate filing period to fill a vacancy on the Anaheim Union High School District Board of Trustees begins Monday, October 15, 2007. The election will be consolidated with the February 5, 2008 Presidential Primary Election.

Nomination papers may be obtained at the office of the Orange County Registrar of Voters office beginning at 8:00 a.m. October 15, 2007 and must be filed by the deadline of November 9, 2007, 5:00 p.m.

To qualify for the office of Trustee, the candidate must be a registered voter in the Anaheim Union High School District at the time of issuance of the nomination papers. A candidate handbook and election calendar is available at the Registrar of Voters’ office and on their website www.ocvote.com.
