Registrar of Voters to Hold Voter Registration Drive at Asian Garden Mall

SANTA ANA, CA January 19, 2007 – As part of their ongoing voter education and outreach the Registrar of Voters will be conducting a Voter Registration Drive event on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Asian Garden Mall. The deadline to register to vote for the February 6, 2007 First Supervisorial District Vacancy Election is Monday, January 22, 2007.

The Registrar would also like to remind voters already registered that if they have moved, changed their name or would like to change their political party affiliation it is necessary to fill out a new registration form.

Registration forms are also available at various locations around the county including post offices, libraries, schools/colleges, city halls and the Registrar of Voters office.

“There are currently 1,505,399 registered voters in Orange County with 205,758 in the First Supervisorial District,” said Neal Kelley, Registrar of Voters.
